Whats the difference of “sealed” and “married” in the temple?

I want to get married in the temple and i have been reading that you must get sealed first and you can have you wedding a different day which of these is better?
get sealed in private and then have the wedding publically
or
get married in public then get sealed in private
or
get sealed and then have the wedding outside the temple

I am soo confused

Getting “Married” and “Sealed” is in itself the same thing when you do it in the temple. Although it does mean two separate things, some LDS people tend to use it interchangeably. When you get married in the temple, you are getting sealed to your fiancee and getting married to them at the same time. Since my family is not LDS, I got married and sealed in the temple, then we had a luncheon so they could join in on the fun. Unfortunately, you cannot get sealed first, then married publicly if you want to go that route. However, you can get married publicly, then you have to wait a year to get sealed. I do not understand why this is the rule, but talk more to your bishop to find the reasons behind it.

Will having done the peace corps help me get into grad school?

I am taking two years to go do my service to humanity and want to know if it will ruin my ability to go to grad school or not. Will going into the peace corps help or hurt me in the long run?

One of my college buddies went to Togo for a Peace Corps stint. She is now doing a PhD at Harvard. That should speak volumes.

I have *NEVER* heard of anybody being at a disadvantage because of joining the Peace Corps.

I know that medical schools look very favorably at Peace Corps experience. Peace Corps experience is especially favorable if your work is in a field related to what you want to study in grad school.

Why does the sun appear to change places in sunset?

I am only 11 so please don’t write any complicated words, (i know parallax though). I NEED TO KNOW WHY the sun is in different places when it sets, throughout the year. This is for a project.

Because the Earth’s axis of rotation is tilted. You know how globes are usually mounted on a stand at an angle, with the north pole not exactly straight up? That is showing the tilt. Imagine a giant table with the Sun in the middle and the Earth going around it at the edge of the table. Keep the base so that the tilt always points the same way. Then as it goes around sometimes it will lean toward the Sun and half way around the table, if you keep it pointing the same way, it will be leaning away from the Sun. This makes our view from the surface of the Earth change for different parts of the table. Now as the earth spins on its axis (spin the globe), the Sun rises and sets for tiny people on that globe. (Don’t worry about them falling off, gravity pulls then toward the center of the globe.) Depending on which way the stand is tilting the Sun may rise and set in slightly different places for them.

Where can I buy a short XM radio antenna extension cheap?

I just bought an XM radio for my car an the antenna wire is about 1 foot short making it so that I can not run it like I want to so that it is completely hidden! I found a 10 foot extension for $15 but I don’t even need that much and I was hoping to find something cheaper. Any ideas?
Just so you guys know, i made a stupid mistake which is why I think the reception is not perfect. I put the actual antenna inside the car on the dash! I didn’t read the manual obviously and remembered seeing them inside other peoples cars like that which is why I did it like that. Also, I found a 3 foot extension on ebay for $15 shipped as compared to $22 shipped for the 15 foot wire that I did not need. My goal is not to hide the acutal antenna, but to hide BOTH of the wires that are running from the roof (outside) of the car to the inside. They are run down the creases of the rear windsheild now and I just don’t like it like that

Refrigerator magnets are the best souvenir because there are so many different kind. You can sometimes get them for each place you visit, like Westminster Abby, the Palace, Big Ben, etc. and they can bring multiple ones for not too much money. And finally, they don’t take up space in luggage and rarely if ever break and never malfunction.

Magnets are my personal souvenir of choice; get one everywhere we travel.

Things with Knitting?

I am knitting a scarf when i am done how do i tie it off

Knit 2 stitches then pick up the first stitch you knitted and pull it over the other stitch you have knitted so you only have one stitch on your needle, keep going along like that knitting one stitch and pulling it over the other (its a bit like leapfrog, I guess) until you have one stitch left on your needle. Then cut your yarn, leave a fairly long tail and thread this through your last stitch, and pull tight.
